Our beloved Alfonso Salgado Sr., age 101, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Alfonso is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62yrs: Ana Maria Salgado; son: Isaias Salgado; daughters: Angelina Salgado and Ricarda Salgado; grandson: Noel Aramburo; parents: Natividad & Maria de los Angeles Salgado.
He is survived by his sons: Ramon Salgado (Augustina), Alfonso Salgado Jr. and Juan Salgado (Abigail); daughters: Rosario Aleman, Rosa Elia Franco (Pedro), Rutila Reyes (David), Blanca Aramburo (Jose), Consuelo Schwarz (Mike), Gloria Bolivar (Manuel), Maria Holman (Robert), Dora Santellano (Martin) and Maria de la Luz Sawyer (Don); grandchildren: 56, great grandchildren: 77; great, great grandchildren: 10; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024 with a Chapel Service beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas. Pastor Misael Rodarte will officiate. … Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
