Obituary of Esperanza A. Rodriguez

Our beloved Esperanza A. Rodriguez, age 71, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

Esperanza was preceded in death by her loving husband: Enrique Q. Rodriguez; daughter, Yolanda Rodriguez; parents, Israel Sr. & Augustina Alvarez; brother, Israel Alvarez Jr.; and sister, Martha A. Rocha.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Rodriguez (Anna Taylor), Enrique Rodriguez Jr. (Kellie); daughters, Margie A. Rodriguez (George), Estella Rodriguez (Patsy Reyna), and Esperanza Rodriguez Cabrera (Brandon); sisters, Amelia Delgado (Pedro), Dora Capetillo (Benito), Adriana Ponce (Jesse Sr.), Lupita Zamora, and Melinda Rodriguez (Alfonso); grandchildren, Patrick Rodriguez, Janelle Rodriguez, Madison Hope Cabrera, Devin Allen Rodriguez, Brooke Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Levi Brandon Cabrera; great grandchild, Noah Rodriguez and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:00p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2017  Visitation from 6:00pm – 9:00pm with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at St. John Catholic Church on 624 E. Hopkins., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate.  Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in, Martindale, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers: Frank Ponce, Henry Espinoza Jr., Richard Alvarez, John Paul Ponce, Patrick Rodriguez, and Moses Rodriguez.
