Obituary of Jessie Miranda Sr.

Our beloved Jessie Miranda Sr., age 58, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

Jesse was preceded in death by his loving parents, Emilio Sr. & Juanita Miranda.

He is survived by his Wife of 25yrs., Maria R. Miranda; sons, Jessie Miranda Jr. (Elaine) and James Christopher Miranda (Crystal Cardenas,) Adam Nicholas Lopez; daughters, Jessica Marie Miranda, and Nancy Gonzales; companion: Martha Mendoza, and his best four legged pals, Cinnamon and Zoe; brothers, Emilio Miranda Jr., Michael Miranda, Emilio Miranda III, and Armando Miranda; sisters, Petra Martinez, Evangelina Ramon, Gloria Miranda, and Brenda Miranda; step mother, Gloria Miranda; grandchildren, 12; great grandchildren, 1; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p m Thursday, September 21, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, Texas.  Interment will follow at St. Michaels Community Cemetery, Uhland, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers: Emilio Miranda Jr., Armando Miranda, Adam Pompa, Domingo Garza, Michael Miranda, and BJ Martinez.
