Obituary of Victoriano R. Martinez Sr.

Our beloved Victoriano R. Martinez Sr., age 68, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

Victoriano was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Deanna Martinez; parents, Victoriano Sr. & Beatrice Flores.

He is survived by his sons, Eleazar Martinez (Amy), Rafael Martinez (Andrea), Victor Martinez Jr. (Mary), and Oscar Martinez; daughter, Christina Martinez (Jesus Medina); brothers, Frank Rodriguez, Genaro Flores, Porfirio Flores, and Robert Flores; sisters, Gloria Leyva, Louisa Gallo, and Esther Vallejo; grandchildren, 22; great grandchildren, 21; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home on 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church….624 E. Hopkins St. San Marcos, Texas.  Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate.  Private Memorial to be celebrated at a later date.

Serving as pallbearers: Joe Manuel Gaitan, Isaac Rodriguez, John Robert Salinas, Timothy Gonzales, Jesus Medina, and Felix Salinas Jr.
