Obituary of Ruperto Arredondo Sr.

Our beloved Ruperto Arredondo Sr., age 89, resident of Kyle was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Ruperto was preceded in death by his parents: Daniel & Guadalupe Arredondo; and brothers, Marcos Arredondo & Vicente Arredondo Sr..

He is survived by his wife of 66yrs., Isabel O. Arredondo; daughter, Norma A. Torres; sons, Ruperto Arredondo Jr (Andrea)., Robert Arredondo (Erma), Albert Arredondo, and Fidel Ortunio (Mary); grandchildren, 12; great grandchildren, 10; great great grandchildren, 2; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home on 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church….801 N. Burleson St. Kyle, Texas.  Rev. Father Miguel Duarte will officiate.  Interment will follow at San Vicente Cemetery in, Kyle, Texas.

Serving as Pall Bearers: Daniel Ortunio, Javier Torres, Richard Ruedas, Joe Frias, Robert Anthony Arredondo, and Andrew Losolla.
