My sincere condolences to all the Sanchez Family.
I met Eloy in the Fall of 2008 at the Rio Vista Tennis Courts. We played tennis together many times. We had discussions on writing especially about poetry. We even talked about his love for music. He had so many interests. We could finish a tennis match and afterwards we could talk for hours.
It had been awhile since we last played. I would usually see him at Walmart or HEB and we would quickly catch up on life and things.
I was shocked to scroll and see his name that he had passed away. He was a good friend and a good man. Rest in Peace.

My condolences to the family of Eloy Sanchez.
I met Eloy several years ago in Kyle at St. Anthony Marie DeClaret Church during a Foodbank Distribution, and enjoyed having conversations with him there afterwards. We both shared some of the same views on lots of things such as politics. There were times we disagreed on things and there were times I left having changed my view. Eloy would make me see things in a different perspective and as strong minded as he was there were times he would leave having changed his view. This did not happen very often but it did on occasion.
Then there were times we would talk about his plants he had at home. He took great pride of his plants and yard always having it well trimmed and cut.
May the Holy Spirit touch each of his loved ones and bless them and give them comfort and healing on the loss of thier father, grandfather, brother, friend.
Until we meet again in the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior farewell for now my friend.
