Amanda, you are a truly special person. I remember meeting you in the NICU on Valentine’s Day and how you would spend hours quietly sitting at Ashley’s bedside each day. You also dedicated time to come back and share your story, not just once, to give other NICU families hope and encouragement. That is never an easy thing to do, but you did it with grace and courage, and always with a smile. As a fellow ‘heart mom’, you will always be very dear to me and I see your beauty in Ashley with every photo you have shared. I am heartbroken for your family and the world is a much sadder place without your beautiful face and big heart in it. My sincere condolences to your family.
