Amanda Marie Garza, age 31 passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at their home in San Marcos, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. Amanda was born November 26, 1988 in San Marcos, Texas to Felipe & Terry Morales. On June 22, 2018 Amanda married the love of her life Derek Garza. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Onesimo & Maria Mendoza; uncle, Concepcion Morales; and aunt, Rosa Hernandez; father in law, Roberto Garza and mother in law, Velia Garza and sister in law, Christina Ponce. She is survived by her husband of 2yrs., Derek J. Garza; daughter, Ashley Lynn Marie Garza; parents, Felipe & Terry Morales; brothers, John Paul Mendoza (Melina), James Mendoza (Frances), and Phillip Anthony Morales (Vanessa); sister, Valerie Dugan (Adam); and hella nieces and nephews.
