Our beloved Mother, Camila Cervantez Hernandez, was called to our Lord’s Kingdom on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was 86 years old and life long resident of San Marcos, Texas. She was the youngest child of 15 siblings of Domingo and Susana Ramirez Cervantez. Camila was born in Redwood, Texas in Guadalupe County. Camila and her family were migrant workers and traveled annually to the Lubbock, Texas area to work in the cotton fields. She had many fond memories growing up with her eldest brother Diciderio’s children in Idalou, Texas. Once returning to San Marcos, she attended St. John’s Catholic school and completed the 9th grade. God is like Pan-Am … He makes the going great. God is like General Electric … He lights your path. God is like Bayer Aspirin … He works wonders. God is like Hallmark cards … He cared enough to send the very best. God is like Tide … He gets the stains out that others leave behind. God is like VO Hair Spray … He holds through all kinds of weather. God is like Dial Soap … Aren’t you glad you know Him? Don’t you wish everybody did? God is like Sears … He has everything. God is like Alka Seltzer … Try Him; you’ll like Him! God Is Scotch Tape … You can’t see Him, but you know He’s there. God is like McDonald’s … He’ll do it all for you. God is like the American Express Card … Don’t leave home without Him. Please visit losangelesfh.com to offer condolences.
