Eulogy for David Cortez Jr.
Today we honor the life of David Cortez Jr. My father was my biggest inspiration and a true hero in my
book. Our family leant on him during any tough times and he was a rock that never let us down.
He was always the one that help give us strength and courage when we need him the most. He was very
helpful and always provide support when you need him the most. He dedicated his life to the family to
and making sure we were supported in whatever we did and that we never felt anything other than
loved that came from him. He always put the family first before anything else to make sure we are well
taking care of and protected no matter what it is. He always inspirited me and my brother to go out and
make something better of ourselves.
I will always remember the good times as well. Like all the times he takes us out to theme parks like
fiesta Texas and Sea World. Also, he would take the family out of town to visited different sites like
Nashville, Tennessee, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He always like to take us to go fishing and visit some of his
fishing spot he like to go when he was younger. Also, I do remember all those casino trips where he
would take my grandfather and me to Louisiana and play shot machines whenever we get a chance.
It very hard to imagine a life without him. He always like best friend you want to be with and I will truly
miss him dearly. I will hold onto the memories he has given me and my family over the years and
remember that he still with us in spirit.
