Our beloved David Cortez Jr., age 65, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 11, 2022.
David is preceded in death by his parents: David Sr. & Estella Cortez; and brother: Ronald Cortez.
He is survived by his wife of 38yrs.: Janie C. Cortez; sons: Juan Carlos Cortez and David Cortez III; brother: Ray Cortez; sisters: Jackie Hipolito, Maria Vega and Jennifer Alejo; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at St. Paul's Catholic Church … 10000 David Moore Dr. … Austin, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:30 am, Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Paul's Catholic Church followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. … Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas
